$CUPDIReceipt Points

Receipt Points

Receipt Points are Cupdiction’s on-platform activity system. They track engagement across prediction markets — not financial performance. Points do not have monetary value and cannot be withdrawn or sold.

How points are earned

Every user earns Receipt Points through prediction activity, regardless of whether they hold $CUPDI.

ActivityPoints earned
Placing a tradeBased on eligible trade activity, subject to caps and anti-abuse checks
Market resolves in your favourBonus points
Market resolves against youBase points (you still participated)
Completing a prediction campaignCampaign bonus
Active in a fee-race marketRace participation bonus

Points are designed to reward participation — not just winning. A user who trades frequently and loses still accumulates points faster than someone who doesn’t trade.

Anti-abuse rules

Cupdiction may exclude activity that appears manipulative, self-dealing, circular, abusive, or designed primarily to farm Receipt Points. This includes wash-like trading, repeated low-quality activity, or coordinated behaviour that undermines campaign fairness.

Points earned through excluded activity may be removed retroactively. Campaign eligibility may be revoked if abuse is detected. Cupdiction’s determination of what constitutes abusive activity is final.

$CUPDI holder multiplier

$CUPDI holders receive a multiplier applied to all Receipt Points earned through prediction activity.

The multiplier is capped to prevent pay-to-win dynamics. Holding an extremely large amount of $CUPDI does not provide a proportionally larger advantage.

TierMultiplierDesign intent
No $CUPDIFull participation, no penalty
Entry holder1.25×Meaningful but modest boost
Mid holder1.5×Active community participant
High holder1.75×Dedicated community member
Top holderMaximum boost — hard cap
💡

The 2× cap is intentional. $CUPDI should not create a pay-to-win environment where large holders dominate leaderboards purely through token holdings. Prediction skill and activity matter more than token size.

Exact tier thresholds (token amounts per tier) will be published at $CUPDI launch and may be adjusted over time based on token supply and community distribution.

Anti-pay-to-win design

Several design principles protect the fairness of the Receipt Points system:

Cap at 2×. No holder — regardless of token amount — earns more than 2× the base rate. A 100× holder earns the same multiplier as a top-tier holder.

Activity-based. The multiplier only applies to points earned through actual prediction activity. Holding $CUPDI without trading generates no additional Receipt Points.

No points for holding. Simply holding $CUPDI does not generate Receipt Points passively. You must participate in prediction markets to earn points.

Campaign fairness. Leaderboard campaigns are scored on prediction performance relative to peers. Multiplied points improve your base score but do not override prediction accuracy as the primary ranking factor.

What Receipt Points are used for

Receipt Points serve as a community standing metric. They are used to:

  • Determine position on the Cupdiction prediction leaderboard
  • Qualify for campaign eligibility thresholds
  • Unlock holder badge progression
  • Signal prediction activity history on your public profile
⚠️

Receipt Points are not a currency. They cannot be exchanged for USDC, SOL, $CUPDI, or any other token. They do not have monetary value. They are a reputation and activity metric only.

Points and campaign rewards

Some campaigns distribute rewards to top-performing participants based on Receipt Points ranking. In those cases:

  • The campaign defines the reward pool (not protocol revenue)
  • The campaign defines the scoring method (points, accuracy, or combined)
  • Reward distribution is at Cupdiction’s discretion per campaign terms
  • Rewards are not guaranteed and may vary between campaigns

See Campaigns & Rewards for details on specific campaign types.
